Originating in Denver, Colorado under the vision of keyboardist, composer, and producer Johnny Bosbyshell, Space Cartel grew from a creative partnership between close friends. Following a long tenure touring with various acts, Johnny reimagined the group during his time at the Abbey Road Institute in London. The project’s expansive identity crystallised in 2025 at Abbey Road’s Angel 1 studio, evolving into a powerhouse 13-piece collective that seamlessly weaves jazz fusion and rock with lush strings and vibrant funk horns. Driven by empathy and artistic ingenuity, Space Cartel delivers rhythmic, narrative-rich soundscapes designed for movement. With a complete debut LP slated for arrival in 2027, the musical journey for this group is only beginning.
