Space Cartel

Founded in Denver by composer, keyboardist, and producer Johnny Bosbyshell, Space Cartel began as a collaboration among longtime friends. After years on the road with other bands, Johnny revived the project while studying at Abbey Road Institute in London. A 2025 session at Abbey Road’s Angel 1 studio helped bring its expanded sound to life: a 13–15-piece ensemble blending jazz fusion, rock instrumentation, strings, and funk horns. Built on compassion, innovation, and musicality, Space Cartel creates danceable grooves that tell a story.
